Free shoes!

See these beautiful shoes above? I ordered them from USA-based Etsy seller LaPlumeEthere recently, and they arrived today.

Slight snag though. I read the conversion charts wrong, and got a size 4 rather than a 5.

So, if I can’t wear them, I’d like one of you to! Are you a UK shoe size 4? Love these shoes? Then leave a comment on this post saying what you’d wear them for. A winner will be picked after noon on Saturday (11th Dec), and I’ll get them sent out to you next week.

    Hi Emma,

    I'd LOVE these shoes! I'm a size 4 and I like in the UK. I don't think I'd save these for a special occasion, but I'm fairly sure I'd wear them out to party with my sisters on New Year's Eve :)

    As for what I'd wear them for…Well it's my birthday on Dec 18th and while the world is strung up on Christmas my big day tends to be overlooked, no it's not fair, so I'll drag the few people I can out to dance the night away and I'd wear these pretty shoes then!
    Sometimes it is all about me and pretty shoes!

    *gasp* Waaaaaant!

    I would wear these during my Christmas holiday in Switzerland. Of course, they're far too lovely to wear in the snow, but I'd sure as hell swan around the chalet with them on at at every opportunity.

    At least then when I break my leg wearing them, I can tell everyone it was a dramatic (and if I can lie convincingly enough, heroic) skiing accident and not death-by-high-heels.

    Wow these are gorgeous shoes! I'd really like these to wear to my best friend's Christmas wedding. I haven't been able to afford a new outfit (let alone some shoes) because I have been made redundant last month, so these shoes would go really well with an old dress I have (which I can make look new) and a peacock type hat!

    Ah beautiful! I'd wear these with a little black dress on Chirstmas Day. It's my boyfriend's birthday and he always feels like he's missing out, so I've planned to make a special effort this year. He will love them as much as I would!

    Wowee! I don't expect to win but if I do I would wear only them in my home,at night following a special date, he's in New York but coming back in March.

    I say special because the theme will be based on his favourite colour which happens to match those magical shoes! He loves the smurfs so I figured that's where his love of blue come from.
